Something in Alberta

I´ve been in Calgary since January 9 ago and I think that I know a lot of places or sightseeings. I know Banff and it´s a good place to visit because you can go to Lake Louis or hot springs. The best place for snowboarding it´s Fernie and Sunshine you can enjoy a lot these places because there are a lot of mountains and it´s good for snowboarding. If you want to see a scenery you should go to Jasper because there is amazing and you can do camping, I think always you have to try other things to do; however is good when you change your activities for that is Jasper. If you want to go shopping you should go to Chinook Mall or Market Mall there are a lot of good shops. I think Calgary has a good places to visit. I have here 6 months and I don´t want to go back to my country because I like these places. What about you?

When I read

When I was child I didn't like to read any kind of book and if my parents told me some stories I don't remember now. I like to read some books like Harry Potter because I think it's so interesting and now you can see the movies and it's almost the same thing in the books. I don't like that in the book you have to read and read because you want to know more always and maybe I can sleep until finish it. I don't like in the movies that they avoid a lot of things that is in the book and so important, maybe if you don't read the book you can't understand very well the movie. When I want to read I want to do it alone because I can't get concentrate with more people it's so difficult for me and maybe I'm not learning anything new but it's good when you read something.

The public transit in Monterrey

The public transit in my city is a little bit bad because our buses are so old and they are putting other buses but they take a lot of time. We have bus and train but our public transit is cheaper than Calgary and you can't buy your card for all the month in a bus, you have to pay every day; in our train you can buy your card for all the month but in my city the buses and train are separate each one it's not like Calgary transit that they have buses and train in the same time. I think my public transit is worse than Calgary because the people don't have the best etiquette and when I arrived in Canada I thought that all the people were so kind and with a good etiquette but I've seen Canadian people I guess, without etiquette in Calgary transit. I think I prefer Calgary transit that my public transit, here the people take care about the vehicles and have a good etiquette.

World Cup In South Africa

I like the soccer and I interested in watch the mexican match. When I was child I played with my friends everyday and then I grow up and I liked just watch the matches. However, I started the university and my life became a little bit busy and I didn't watch a lot of matches. Sometimes I want to be child for play soccer again with my friends, because it was perfect always the same teams and always the same positions in the game. In my city we have 2 teams "rayados" and "tigres" and we have matches that we call them "the classics" we call them like that because it's 2 teams and they came from the same city. My favorite mexican team is "rayados" because since I was child all my family like "rayados" and I grow up with that. I think the world cup is so interesting for everyone and if you don't like you can see just your country match.

Calgary is safe!

I think that Calgary is a safe city because you can be at night with your friends and nothing happens. My city now is not safe like 3 years ago, we have some problems with the security and is a big problem for us because my city was a safe city. I like calgary because I walked at 4 am alone from Dalhousie to my home and I felt safe. If this city become in a big city it'll be dangerous, because I think all the big cities are so dangerous. I like when a city is a little bit quiet because you can enjoy everything if you feel safe in your city. If you want to be protect you always stay with your friends and be carefully in Downtown. I don't think that downtown is so dangerous but so many people are drunk and they can be a little bit rude with you. I like the life in Calgary and I think is safe if you come to live here you will enjoy it.

Holiday Independence Day

I'm from Mexico and we have an important holiday that is on September 16. This holiday is because is our Independence Day. In 1810 Miguel Hidalgo proposed the Independence and it's important day for us. We really enjoy that day because the party start on September 15 at night and finish the next day in the morning. Everybody wear their clothes as colors green, white and red; it's because our flag is with these colors. In that day you can feel the patriotism in all the country and everyone is exciting. Always we have the typically mexican food in that day like: enchiladas, sopes, flautas, gorditas, tacos, etc. I don't like that everybody get drunk in that day, but it's part of the day I can't chance that. I think that is a good day in Mexico Independence Day.

Money

I won $10 millions and I want to realize my dreams. first I´ll buy a lot of things for me. I´ll buy a house and a car and then I´ll put my money in my family´s company. I want to help to poor people in the world and I´ll do business for make some organizations in benefit to poor people. I´ll travel with my friends to around the world. I want to save some money because I can´t spend all my money without goal. I´ll buy 4 or 5 houses for my family and I want to buy some ranch to spend my weekends or maybe I´ll buy some apartment in California, Cal, USA. I´m not sure about that, but I´m sure that I will make my real dreams with my $10 millions.
